Appraisal and review systems will differ from company to company. Irrespective of the format of the appraisal and review system, an employee could implement the following simple but useful ways to make a fine impression:

  • You should be honest and intent while responding to all the questions.
  • Support your accomplishments with sustaining material and documents.
  • Always keep a trace of the assignments, projects and activities carried out by you during the year.
  • Do a self-analysis and evaluation of your own work.
  • Prepare before the appraisal interview and decide on the key accomplishments and points that you would like to discuss or questions you want to ask.
  • Always remember that the aim of the appraisal and evaluation is to evaluate your performance. You need to learn from both your successes and failures to push yourself forwards on the growth path.
